(Our Story)

The inspiration to open up an orphanage came from a deeply personal journey. I grew up at a village called Kagoye in Kayunga district with honestly no hope that I would study until I finish University due to the financial challenges that were at home. At my village, attaining a university degree was unheard of.

I realized that my own success was made possible not only through my hard work but also by the generosity of someone who believed in the potential of young minds like mine and through her kindness, she sponsored me. Her passion for education and her dedication to helping those in need ignited a fire within me to do the same.

This realization became the catalyst for my inspiration. I felt a strong sense of responsibility to give back to society, to create a nurturing and educational environment for orphaned children who deserved the same chance for a better life that I had been given. It was a way to honor the generosity of those who supported my education and a way to channel my gratitude into meaningful action.

In opening up the orphanage, I aimed to provide these children not only with access to quality education but also with a loving and supportive home where they could heal, grow, and thrive. My own journey served as a reminder that education and care can break down barriers and unlock a world of opportunities, and I was determined to extend that possibility to those who needed it most.

So, in essence, the inspiration to open up an orphanage as someone who benefited from sponsorship was a heartfelt commitment to giving back, to sharing the blessings I had received, and to providing orphaned children with the same life-changing opportunities that had shaped my own future.
